Super fun activity, well planned too. Great option for a private tour! The hike itself wasn’t too tough, but it does get pretty cold and windy at night so do bring your jackets. There are also many locals who will sell hats, gloves etc at the mountains. Thank you to Diki (our driver) and Lintang (our guide) for bringing us around.

We saw a part of the Milky Way since it was a clear day. The sunrise is absolutely amazing. It’s a once in a life time experience to see the Bromo like that. Make sure to bring sunglasses, warm clothes since it’s cold up there and windy so sometimes the sand flies around. We found it very nice that there was the option to rent jackets for a small fee :). The crater hiking was cool too! Please don’t take the horse ride since we felt bad for the horses..

"We started our tour on Mount Bromo sunrise with our guide Aditya at 11:30 PM, and after a two-hour drive, we got into an off-road vehicle that took us farther. Around 3:00 AM, we reached the refreshment point near the viewpoint, and it was really cold, so I recommend bringing warm clothes. We were offered tea, and around 4:00 AM, we moved to the lookout point, where we saw a beautiful sunrise and Mount Bromo. Everything went smoothly, and Aditya took a lot of great photos. Afterward, we headed to the Bromo crater. The whole trip was perfectly organized, and Aditya took excellent care of us. I highly recommend it!"
